Student planners, school directory, field trips, school programs like author visits, teacher appreciation gifts, spirit wear, grounds clean-up and plantings beyond basic mowing, Harvest/Valentine classroom party treats, brick sales, etc!

These are a few of the ways that PTO supports the school with time & money throughout the year... every. single. year!  We'd love to see you at a PTO meeting!

Fall & Spring Fundraisers

We're planning to support Washington as much as possible through our usual fall & spring fundraisers.  These events are a BIG deal for us to support the school in the many ways that we have over the years.  They're usually fun for the kids, too.  Stay tuned for opportunities to help!

Washington School's 100th Anniversary Celebration!

PTO is planning some fun events for Fall 2023, to celebrate how far Washington has come since 1923!  Parent liaison per grade level needed!  A new changeable sign at the school's main entry may be part of that plan, to make it easier for staff to update and keep parents in tune!

Family Fun Events

PTO knows how to throw a party!  We typically have four family fun events per school year.  These vary, but some favorites have been bowling, bingo night, ice skating, our amazing Spring Carnival, and the best school Halloween Boo Bash ever!

How can we increase parent/community engagement with PTO?

A survey will go out to parents in late August or September.  We value your answers!

We want to have an approach this year that "every parent and teacher is a PTO member".  Not only do we value your answers to the survey, but any time or interest parents and teachers give is VALUED beyond measure.  We look forward to cultivating a culture of creativity, excitement and respect!
